Progressives are fearful that Barack Obama isn't one of them, and that there are all sorts of ways in which he plans to betray them. Inviting Rick Warren to pray at the inauguration; taking too long to close Guantanamo but not closing the Baghram Air Force Base prison at all; opposing gay marriage; not abolishing Don't Ask, Don't Tell...There will inevitably be much more of this. It's a normal part of the political process.

From the Right, Obama is still a Socialist, a terrorist, a would-be dictator, a revolutionary, and other such tripe.
