Thank Goodness

I am happy to see programs like this in communities. Its unfortunate that Oregon isn't doing anything. In 2005 I committed a reckless traffic offense and gave a man a bloody nose(accidentally). I was convicted of an Assault 3 for the offense. I rode dead end jobs, was released from probation but I could never pay those high fines. Finally, in 2009 (2 years after release) I began manufacturing everything under the sun that can be cultivated in order to produce an income. Marijuana, magic mushroooms, Opium, Heroin, Morphine etc. Basically anything that doesnt cause property damage. Although, I don't operate year round I would have never turned back to crime in order to survive if their was employment opportunities that ensured success amongst felon. In 2009 I graduated college. I also drew about 20k in state funds since my conviction
Once again, Im glad something is being done somewhere because I would have never turned to crime if the necessary income to survive was within reach.

Negligent Hiring Laws are tough laws to get around. Drug laws aremuch easier. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
